Library FAQs: Answer

Starting Monday, November 6th, 2023, Fanshawe will implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all student accounts. To find more information about Fanshawe's MFA rollout, check out our MFA page.

If able, students should download and install the Microsoft Authenticator app onto their mobile devices and follow the instructions on how to set up MFA. We also have a helpful video with step-by-step instructions.

If students are unable to use the app, they will need to authenticate using a physical security key (USB device), available from the Library Learning Commons (LLC). Students can complete and submit an online form to request a key.
