The FOL email system is transitioning to a ‘send only' environment to maintain its course-based communication features while utilizing Outlook 365’s advanced features. Professors will still be able to send emails from their FOL courses, and these emails will be delivered to students’ Outlook 365 accounts, allowing students to respond and continue the conversation there with their professors.
The students’ Outlook 365 account will be available starting Thursday, May 1, 2025. Further details regarding access to Outlook 365 email accounts will be provided in the Winter 2025 term.
Students will keep their fanshaweonline.ca email addresses. However, professors and staff will no longer have separate fanshawec.ca and fanshaweonline.ca accounts. All messages sent to these addresses will be delivered to their single College Outlook 365 email account.
