Is there a way to check the artificial intelligence score on my paper?
Last Updated: May 16, 2025     17

Turnitin is College-approved software that scans student submissions for plagiarism and AI-generated content. Students submit their work, which Turnitin scans and scores. Students can access the similarity report and score. The similarity report flags content from other sources and can be used to check for citations and whether they're cited properly. Professors can see the similarity report and score and an artificial intelligence (AI) score.

Testing your paper through outside sources may cause issues, as outside sources do not disclose what they do with the papers that are being shared. When using artificial intelligence, ensure it is allowed by your professor, be transparent about how you used it, and cite it appropriately.

Please see the Turnitin Guide for more information on using Turnitin.
