What do I do if someone is in my booked room?

When you have booked a study room, people may be in the room. These people may be wrapping up their time, think the room is available, or do not know about the booking process. Before notifying the people that you're there, check your booking confirmation email, or check with library staff to confirm that the space is reserved by you.

Students are aware that others use the spaces, so once you have confirmed your booking, let those in the room know that you have arrived. If you feel uncomfortable, the staff at the desk can help.

Unbooked rooms are available for drop-in. Since the rooms are drop-in if they are not booked, there may be people who have been in them for a long time. Those who do have it booked have priority, though, and can ask for the room.
